You’ll need a credit card to cover any extra costs, such as fines for traffic offenses, vehicle damage, fuel, and any other costs directly related to the use of the hired vehicle. At the start of the rental, we will save your credit card information in order to cover these costs.
Yes, in most cases you do! The amount is equivalent to the insurance policy’s franchise, i.e., for the basic CDW insurance, it fluctuates between 100,000 ISK and 350,000 ISK.
